December 1 is Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
If you’re looking for a non-profit to donate to this #GivingTuesday, look no further! Did you know Friends of Roxhill Elementary is a 501c3 organization? Well it is! 100% of the funds raised go directly towards the enrichment of our kids. Corporate matching can even double your donation.
Projects this fall included buying grocery store gift cards for Roxhill families experiencing food insecurity, hiring translators to attend meetings so that all families can participate, providing school supplies for kids to use at home and planning free community events. We have lots more we want to accomplish in 2021.

We updated our Events page to show all currently planned events for the rest of the year – including committee meetings, monthly planning meetings, and kid-friendly events. Check it out! Also available as a Google Doc with links to the Zoom meetings.
Hello Roxhill friends and families. It’s that time!
Our yearly See’s Candies Fundraiser, organized by Friends of Roxhill Elementary, is one of the biggest ways we raise money for our school. If every student sells just one box, we’ll reach our goal! See’s is easy to sell because people love the candy. From chocolate treats to peanut brittle, there’s something for everyone.
Here’s the link to our Roxhill See’s Candies shop: https://rb.gy/z5rsl7
Share the link with your friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives across the country. And if you want to buy a box or two for yourself… Well, we won’t say anything.
How does it work? Order from the link above and the See’s Candies order is shipped directly to the person making the order. This year it’s 100% contact free. Friends of Roxhill receives all profits from the orders.
