January Community Meeting: Volunteer Fair!

Let’s kick off the new year with generosity, opportunity, and community! Come learn about all the ways to get involved at Roxhill. You’ll get to hear from teachers, staff, and Friends of Roxhill about the many ways to volunteer at Roxhill. THEN, connect with an opportunity and get support with the SPS volunteer application so you can get started!

This is the easiest way to connect with the school, fellow volunteers, and Friends of Roxhill! We’ll share tons of clear, easy-to-start opportunities you can sign up for immediately including:

• Being a reading buddy
• Working in the garden
• Helping plan family fun night and the school auction
• Helping out in the office
• Being a field trip chaperone
• Supporting the Kings & Queens club
• Walking School Bus
• Girls on the Run
• Bike Rodeo
• and more!

We’ll also have some computers, a school representative, and a volunteer available to help complete the Seattle Public Schools volunteer application if you need help.

We invite all families and caregivers to join us for our monthly meetings, organized by Friends of Roxhill. Pizza, childcare, and Spanish interpretation are available at every meeting.
