The Friends of Roxhill online fundraising auction has begun!

Our “RoxStar” students need support now more than ever. This year, we are raising money to improve our outdoor play space, which is currently all blacktop and concrete with no green space or welcoming murals. Funds raised will also replenish our general fund, which we use for community-building events, classroom grants, and more. Thanks to many generous West Seattle businesses, every dollar raised goes directly back to help the students, teachers, and families who make up the vibrant Roxhill school community.
We’ve collected over 70 exciting items for you to bid on, including many you may already be planning to purchase:
- Classic Seattle experiences: Seafair Festival Package, Argosy Cruises, and an Alki kayak tour
- Camps & birthday parties for kids: Dance classes, art and music classes, art and music camps!
- Fun activities for your family: Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Art Museum,MoPOP, rock climbing, and roller skating
- Tickets to sports, movies, and music! Sounders, Reign FC, Kraken, Junction FC, Rhodies FC, NW Film Forum, and Kenyon Hall
- Self-care for you and your loved ones: Yoga passes, fitness classes, and spas
- Date nights and restaurants: Pizza, coffee, Junction Wine Walk, mead tasting, paint & sip date
- Stuff you need! Burien Bark, Pegasus Books, Third Place Books, landscaping, home cleaning, photography, and tutoring.
- Teacher and staff experiences: Roxhill families can purchase affordable tickets to experiences with Roxhill teachers and staff including a slime-making party with Ms. Binkow, cupcake decorating with Ms. Brettyn, and a baseball party with Mr. Popelka and Mr. Mac!
- Fund a need: You can also donate directly to help improve Roxhill’s outdoor space.
How to Bid
- Find an item to bid on
- Enter a “Max bid” amount you’re willing to pay (or you can make a single bid)
- The website will handle bidding, up to your chosen limit (You can always choose to bid more later)
- Wait until the auction closes at 8:00pm on April 3 to see if you win an item!
