Book Fair April 3-4: How to participate and donation match!
We still need a few volunteers to help with the book fair during the school day. Can you help? Sign up to volunteer for the book fair.
We are partnering with Paper Boat Booksellers (a West Seattle independent bookstore) for this year’s Book Fair. Students will be given the opportunity to shop at the Book Fair during the school day.
While we will accept cash and credit cards, families may want to set up a “wallet” for their child with a fixed amount of money in that wallet, so that their child is not coming to school with money that could get lost. Here is the link to set up a Book Fair wallet.
You can also donate money through this link to support students who may not have the funds to purchase a book. Paper Boat Booksellers will match your donation!
Our goal is that all students will go home with a book!

Friends of Roxhill is our school’s non-profit parent/teacher organization (PTO). We are parents, community members, and teachers who work together to support the education and enrichment of our multicultural public school.
Everyone is welcome and all ideas are encouraged!
Our meetings are usually on the 2nd Monday of the month from 6–7:30 p.m. This is a great way to connect with Principal Lorow, parents, caregivers and teachers in the Roxhill community. Pizza and childcare will be provided. Spanish interpretation will be available. Interpretation for other languages is available upon request. Email friendsofroxhill@gmail.com with questions.

Get excited for the Roxhill Auction! May 3
May 3, 3pm
Roxhill Elementary Garden and Playground
If you missed our last email inviting you to our school community auction, check it out! Here’s what you need to know:
The auction will be free to attend and no bidding is required. We’ll have snacks, playtime in the garden and playground, and a free kids raffle!
Online bidding will open soon after Spring Break, and you don’t need to be present May 3 to win! We’ll have tickets, gift certificates, and awesome experiences with Roxhill staff and teachers. (Husky football. Sounders. Coffee. Slime party with Ms. Binkow! So much more!)
It’s not too late to sponsor or donate an auction item. The more donations we have, the more money we raise to support our Roxstar students, teachers, and staff. Even if you don’t have items or a business, you can make donations like yard work, dog walking, and other services and experiences to help the community.
We need volunteers to make this event fun, inclusive, and successful. Sign up to volunteer.
Get ready to invite your friends and family! Anyone can bid online! More bidders = more money for our school.
