Dear Roxhill families and friends,
As we come to the end of the school year, it’s a great time to reflect on what our small but mighty parent teacher organization provided our students and teachers at Roxhill Elementary. We can do these things through generous donations from Roxhill’s parents, friends, and community. Thank you for making all of this possible:
~$15,000 in holiday and household support for Roxhill families.
~$5,000 in direct support to teachers, used on classroom supplies and field trips.
~$4,000 on COVID-19 supplies such as two-way radios and masks for students and teachers.
Volunteer-led work parties and classes in the Roxhill Learning Garden.
Yearbooks for all students and staff.
Roxhill T-shirts for all students and staff.
Backpacks for each 5th grader and a graduation party at Lincoln Park.
The down payment on a 3 night field trip to NatureBridge for next year’s 5th graders.
Teacher appreciation throughout the year: back-to-school breakfast, pizza parties, and RealFine coffee.
Interpretation services at monthly Community Meetings.
An awesome dance party with DJ Hero.
We have a lot of fun ideas in the works for the 2022-2023 school year and would love to hear yours. Email us at friendsofroxhill@gmail.com if you want to get involved!
Thank you for all your involvement and support this year. Congratulations to all the 5th graders moving up to middle school. We look forward to seeing everyone else in September! In community, Friends of Roxhill Elementary
